The Registration Duties, Estates and VAT Authority is one of the three tax authorities in the Grand Duchy, alongside the Luxembourg Inland Revenue and the Customs and Excise Agency.
All the taxes, duties and charges which concern the legal circulation of goods, as well as VAT, fall within its sphere of competence.
The administration of state property and the collection of property taxes and income of all kinds forms another important part of the Indirect Tax Authority's competences. Lastly, it manages the country's mortgage system and is an anti money laundering control authority.
